Tanks With Internal Heater For Above Ground / Underground Installation
Heated tanks are equipped with a heat exchange system positioned inside the liquid phase and are designed to guarantee the maintenance of temperature values so as to ensure the continuous gas flow supply required by the user.
Heat exchange is ensured by an exchanger positioned in the lower part of the tank, consisting of a finned tube housed inside a steel tube with a diameter of 4″, whose external surface is in direct contact with the liquid phase of the LPG. In the layer between the inner surface of the 4″ tube and the outer surface of the finned tubes, known as the “mantle”, circulates a “transition” fluid consisting of a water-glycol mixture. Inside the finned tubes flows the “heating” fluid consisting of a water-glycol mixture.
The electrical panel with IP 65 degree protection performs the function of managing the signals sent by the exchanger control equipment and the related alarms, and is a mandatory CPS accessory for the purposes of safety and compliance with Directive 2014/068/EU.
